SE Blue goes behind the scenes at a waste water treatment plant.

Monday, October 12th, 2009

SE Blue was treated to an inside look at the Morgan Waste Water Treatment Plant. Shook Construction and SE Blue are currently working on this project for the City of Cleveland’s Water Department. The renovation is just one of several water treatment plants being overhauled or updated by the City.

Kudos to Adam Wiebe at Shook who simplified the water treatment process so that it was easily understood by all. Who would have guessed that Lake Erie water could be turned into drinkable water!

“I generally just see the projects on paper. This was a wonderful opportunity to go behind the scenes and see the project in progress.” said Gena Koehler, sales manager at SE Blueprint.

The $26 million renovation involves the rehabilitation of drinking water filters, replacement of control and instrumentation panels as well as an overall facelift of the facility. For complete details on the Morgan Waste Water Treatment Plant renovations click here.
